Marketing Manager

Five Rivers Environmental Contracting Ltd is an industry leader in specialist environmental contracting, habitat management & environmental monitoring. Due to a period of sustained growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing professional to join our team in a newly created role that will allow you to truly make your mark. This role will report directly into the Managing Director and will require the successful candidate to lead on the design and implementation of a forward thinking marketing strategy that will support Five Rivers continued growth and establish our brand throughout the industry. This is a remote based opportunity however we have operational sites in Salisbury, Coventry & Hatfield so there is an expectation that you are to attend sites for important meetings and strategy development.

Marketing Manager roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies
  • Work with the board and senior management to deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Develop strategies that will enhance the Five Rivers brand and drive business growth
  • Identify new marketing opportunities, both traditional and digital to enhance the brand and awareness of the business
  • Manage re-branding exercises, working with internal and external parties
  • Manage the creation of new website with the support of specialist web designers
  • Manage all Five Fivers social media platforms, using them to promote the business and attract more engagement and followers
  • Create focused content for all of our online platforms, both internal and external
  • Work with HR & Recruitment to promote Five Rivers as an employer of choice allowing us to attract and retain the best talent
  • Support with the development and implementation of an internal communications plan that allows us to engage our workforce and deliver key messages in the most effective way whilst driving a positive culture
  • Manage the monthly newsletter, ensuring the content is both relevant and engaging
  • Provide data and analytics to demonstrate the impact of the marketing strategy
  • Create content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
  • Form part of the senior management team and attend weekly/monthly management meetings

Marketing Manager Qualifications, skills and attributes

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a Related Field,
  • Previous marketing management experience
  • Previous re-brand experience
  • Creative and innovative approach confident presenting new ideas
  • Commercial awareness
  • Graphic design experience
  • Awareness of SEO optimisation techniques
  • Analytical skills with the ability to present data that demonstrates results
  • Budgeting experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Well organised and able to effectively manage multiple projects at one time
  • Willingness and ability to travel – a clean driving licence is essential
