What is topography?
Topography refers to the features of an area, both natural and artificial. Mountains, rivers, roads and elevation are all elements of topography. Topographic surveys take into account the scale of land and its defined boundaries, providing an accurate depiction of a site in the early stages of design.Talk to an expert
Why are topographic surveys necessary?
The data gathered from topographic surveys can help to inform the designs and plans for your scheme, and will also help you to visualise what your project may look like upon completion, giving you extra confidence around its design. We also undertake the setting out and as-built surveys for our schemes to make sure that works are completed as per the designed locations and levels, and to provide information for the Health and Safety File upon completion.Talk to an expert
How is a topographic survey carried out?
Our expert team will head out into the field to gather level survey data using our Trimble S5 and R8s with STC5 controller. We will then process your data using N4ce software and autoCAD to manipulate and format the data for ease of use. We ensure accuracy of the survey through internal quality assurance checks with the data made available in DWG, DXF or any format you require to enable you to view and access the information collected.Talk to an expert
