A passion for the environment. It’s in our nature.
The state of our environment has thankfully come to the top of political, business, and personal agendas in recent years. As a leading environmental consultant and environmental management specialist in the UK, FiveRivers are here to help you exceed your environmental ambitions and work together to leave our natural world in a better state than we found it. We have over two decades of experience working with the nature, and our expertise encompasses terrestrial and aquatic habitats with a specific passion for rivers and wetlands. FiveRivers support a wide range of clients, working on anything from nationally significant infrastructure schemes to charity led projects. Amongst our clients are non-government organisations, statutory bodies, local authorities, and private companies.
FiveRivers is a specialist in the consultation, design, delivery and monitoring of ecological and environmental solutions. Over the past 25 years, we’ve expanded from a small contracting team to a group of over 75 passionate, multidisciplinary experts. We’re still growing, offering new complimentary services, and increasing geographical coverage to support our clients.
Our head office is in Codford, Wiltshire, and we operate a hybrid working model with staff home based covering the whole UK. We support a wide range of clients, working on anything from nationally significant infrastructure schemes to charity led habitat restoration. We set the bar high in our Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety performance and are externally audited so our clients know they are getting the best possible service.
As natural capital specialists, we understand the need for a sustainable future. Sustainability is at the core of our business, and we have an ambitious program to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. Most of our team members have an inherent interest in wildlife conservation, habitat restoration and environmental biodiversity, leading to a cultural bias towards making our communities stronger while helping improve our native ecosystems. With this key interest already within our people, we can see everyday examples of our colleagues working in ways to make our services and practices more sustainable. FiveRivers is externally certified by a third party to ISO14001, and fully committed to achieving B-Corps certification, which will make all aspects of our business better with regards to sustainability.

Testimonial
We were particularly impressed with the ‘can-do’ attitude during some very rough and wet weather during the early part of the project. A changeover of project manager mid-stream was of some concern, but both project managers kept us informed, presented well when this was required, and were able to answer or find out information in respect of questions that we raised. The team leader and his team on the ground were always willing to speak to members of the public, and it was reported back several times how the public appreciated this.
