Solar Farm Development – Compound Construction

Our 5R Civil Engineering team has recently completed a 6500m2 compound for our client in Exeter for a new solar farm development.

Permission for this development was granted in July 2022, for the installation and operation of a 49MW solar farm comprising ground mounted photovoltaics and associated infrastructure. We completed the design (as principal designer) and subsequent construction works.

With high praise from the client, we have been awarded further temporary compound and access works in Shropshire for another solar farm development with the same client.
