Design & Consultancy

Practical and bespoke designs.

Our roots are in practical contracting, and we use this practical experience in our ecological design and consultancy services, with an ethos that focuses on sustainable environmental improvements that maximise environmental benefit. We can provide a full suite of habitat improvement and ecological design services, from initial concept/scoping and topographic site surveys through to the production of reporting and detailed drawings in both 2D and 3D. The ecological designs we create are bespoke, sympathetic to the on-site conditions and will always utilise site- won materials where possible.

Habitat Restoration & Creation

Nature-based solutions.

We’re best known for the exemplary river restoration and habitat creation we’ve carried out to improve wetlands, estuarine habitats and an array of river systems across the UK, with a particular specialism in chalk streams and river restoration services. Our passion for these habitats is why we at FiveRivers have developed a knowledgeable and experienced team with the skills and equipment needed to ensure that all restoration and habitat creation projects are monitored, designed and constructed utilising predominantly nature- based solutions.
